The Proposal
The business objective was to increase traffic through to the
site and translate this into footfall for the shopping centre by
incentivising.
The brand needed to raise its profile geographically and the
owners required its online presence to grow dramatically.
The Solution
A PPC campaign via Google and Facebook utilised the
pre-Christmas market and twice weekly newsletters reinforced the
offers.
Testing newsletter content, sending welcome emails with money
off vouchers and driving traffic to the competitions all assisted
in exceeding targets and laying the foundations for an enhanced
online strategy in 2011.
The Outcome
Traffic increased by 600%, the database figures rose by 188% and
the profile of the website had been leveraged throughout the
region. Footfall through the centre was measured by the redemption
of over 800 vouchers downloaded from the website post sign up.
The next 12 months will see event-led campaigns, an organic SEO
project alongside on-site changes to optimise the user's
experience.
